B&R Selects Manager for Retail, Mixed-Use, Commercial & Multi-Family Mechanical Engineering Efforts
Monday, Jan 13, 2014B&R Construction Services (B&R) has named Shawn Ruehl, P.E., LEED AP BD+C, as Manager of its growing Engineering Division. Shawn has over 20 years of experience in the M/E/P engineering field, having worked on a wide variety of retail, mixed-use, commercial, multi-family, institutional and governmental projects. His experience includes new construction, renovation and building system evaluation and upgrade projects. Shawn’s dedication to the engineering and design industry is evident through his deep rooted commitment to industry related organizations. He is an active member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES), the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), and the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE). Shawn is leading the firm’s retail, mixed-use, commercial and multi-family mechanical engineering efforts utilizing his experience with various delivery methods and LEED coordination on small and large-scale projects. Shawn earned a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from University of Maryland College Park and holds a professional engineering license in several states and has his LEED AP BD+C certification.
