Elizabeth Parks Joins B&R as Revit Design Specialist

Tuesday, Aug 18, 2015

B&R Construction Services has announced that Elizabeth Parks has joined the firm as a Design Specialist.

Elizabeth has over four (4) years of experience in the M/E/P engineering field, having worked as a CAD Specialist on a variety of office building and multi-family housing projects. She is a certified Revit professional, having completed the Autodesk Certification program in 2013, which recognizes Elizabeth’s knowledge of Autodesk Building Information Modeling (BIM) software, Revit.

BIM allows users to design a building and structure its components in 3D, assigning critical information in the computer model. The result is a project information source for everyone involved in the building’s design, construction and operation. Elizabeth has experience setting up, organizing and managing these 3D models in Revit, as well as 2D drawings in Vectorworks and AutoCAD.

Bringing Elizabeth’s knowledge to the firm, B&R President David Vocci says he’s looking forward to bringing a complete project delivery to clients through BIM. “Building Information Modeling is a powerful tool to utilize throughout a project. It’s essential that designers working on a project in BIM know how to use the software in order to make the most of it for the client. Elizabeth’s certification is the benchmark that clients should look for when selecting a firm to complete a project in BIM.”
