Garden State Plaza Helicopter Lift

After extensive planning and preparation, B&R is pleased to announce the successful replacement of thirteen air handling units at Garden State Plaza for Westfield, LLC. The project took place this past Sunday, August 28th and went off without a hitch.

Erickson Air-Crane provided the lifting muscle while C-K Air Conditioning and Airside provided the ground and roof crews. Along with help from Electric and Trane; who made the connections and provided the start-up. The service units; one of which weighted over 13,000 pounds, were fully operational prior to the mall opening on Monday, August 29th.

Garden State Plaza is a two-story, upscale shopping mall located at the intersection of route 4 and route 17 near the Garden State Parkway, about 15 miles from west Manhattan. The mall has over 2 million square feet of leasable space, and houses over 300 stores. Garden State Plaza is the largest mall in New Jersey and one of the highest-revenue producing malls in the United States.
